This conversation-starter bed warmer is made of copper and brass. The idea was to fill the bottle with hot water and then pass it over the bed sheets just before retiring. A metal poker was probably inserted in the loop on the cap. Length: 11 inches; width: 7½ inches; height: 4¾ inches. This piece is marked, "Rein Kupter Spezial" and was made in Germany. Condition: the warmer has some dents on the top - please see photos #5 and #6. Also, there are minor scratches. This condition is reflected in the price.
