Beautiful silver plated sugar bowl with lid. Manufactured by Wurtemberg Metalware Factory or Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik, a German company that formed in 1880. It is marked on the bottom with "as" for antique silver, a finish that is a darkening of the silver. Also marked "I/O" which means normal thickness of silver deposited onto the base, as well as "M" meaning the base is brass.<br><br>This sugar bowl is silver plated with some wear of the silver, but it is still a very pretty piece.
